Wanda Evelyn Lee

Wanda Evelyn Lee, nee Poole, 78, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 15, 1937 in Cape Girardeau, MO, died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL.

She was retired from housekeeping at MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah.  Wanda enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, and watching soap operas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelley Woodrow Kinder and Verda May, nee Poole, Kinder Caveness; her husband, James K. Lee whom she married in Belleville, IL on Aug. 23, 1959; and a son, Steven Paul Lee.

She is survived by four daughters, Eva M. Lee of Mascoutah, IL, Debra Lilley of New Baden, IL, Hollie (Brad) Williams of Addieville, IL, and Rhonda (Frank) Stroder of St. Libory, IL; seven grandchildren, Cynthia (Jadon) Schank, Nancy Lee Lilley, John David Lilley, Brett Stroder, Douglas Stroder, Nicholas Williams, and James Kenneth Lee; a brother, Kenneth (Mary) Kinder of Scott City, MO; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
