Carl W. “Bill” Brewster, 70, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 19, 1945 in Titusville, PA died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville IL.
He was a retired Master Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force and also retired from Empire Comfort Systems in Belleville, IL He was a member of American Legion Post 58, Freeburg, IL and a U. S. Air Force Viet Nam war veteran.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph A. Brewster, his parents, James N. and Mary T., nee Guerrierri, Brewster, Sr., a niece, Christine Brewster and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas B. (Mary J.) Pettis.
Surviving are his wife, Betty J., nee Pettis, Brewster whom he married in Oxen Hill, MD on June 24, 1971; two brothers, James N. (Marge) Brewster, Jr. of Cleveland, OH, David Brewster of Titusville, PA; two sisters, Kristine (Craig) Schwartz of Pleasantville, PA, Rita (David) Eddy of Orlando, FL; also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.

Visitation: There will be a visitation from 10 AM to 12 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: A memorial service will be held 12 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Moll Funeral Home with The Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
