Irene F. Renth

Irene F. Renth, nee Hoercher, 94, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 28, 1921 in Mascoutah,IL died Monday, March 7, 2016 at Clinton Manor Living Center, New Baden, IL.

She was a seamstress and homemaker.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Irene, nee Ortlepp, Hoercher, her husband, Herbert H. Renth who died June 17, 1983, a son, Bobby L. Renth, a daughter-in-law,  Geneda Renth Harrison, a brother, Henry “Hank” Hoercher and sister-in-law, Leona Renth.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Bill (Andrea) Blackmer of Mascoutah, IL, Debra (Mark) Spicer of Mascoutah, IL, Donna (Kent) Winter of Highland, IL; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Grimmer of Mascoutah, IL; a brother, Marlin Hoercher of Salem, AR; and a niece and nephews..

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
