In the words of his family, Carlyn was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was the sweetest, kindest man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He made the world a better place with his great love for his family, his big heart and gentle soul. He was a stoic, hard-working man who put his family first. He was a role model for his daughter and granddaughters and he was proud of his family. He gave his granddaughter, Claire, her love and passion for Cardinal’s baseball. God broke the mold when he made you! You will be forever remembered and missed in our hearts.
