Judy Ann Brand

Judy Ann Brand, nee Amie, 81, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 27, 1934 in Bremerton, WA, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 at MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.

She was a homemaker and retired from the Scott AFB Childcare Center. Judy grew up in Portland, OR where she attended the Franklin High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Deminco Joseph and Olive, nee Helms, Amie, her son, Elwin “Buddy” Brand and a grandson, Timothy Brand.

She is survived by her husband, Elwin C. “Carl” Brand whom she married in Vancouver, WA on Sept. 25, 1954; her children, Carla Caskey of Mascoutah, IL, Robert (Karolyn) Brand of Mascoutah, IL, Dennis Brand of San Diego, CA; six grandchildren, Amie Messerly, Jeffrey Hicks, Stephanie Hicks, Matthew (Heather) Brand, Nathan (Veronica) Brand and Melissa Brand; six great-grandchildren, Faith and Orion Messerly, Emma Brand Hurlahe, Mason Brand, Bailey Shaw and Blain Stangle.

Visitation :  Visitation will be from 9 to 11:15 AM Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral :  A funeral service will be held 11:15 AM Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Anthony officiating.  Burial will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
