Jim Edmonds, Jr., 80, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 5, 1935, in Olmstead, IL died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at his residence.
Jim was a retired SMSgt. serving 25 years in the U. S. Air Force and also retired from Boeing where he worked for 20 years, He was a U. S. Air Force Viet Nam War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace, nee Thomas, Edmonds, Sr., two brothers, Leroy and Leonard Edmonds; four sisters, Dimple Thomas, Helen Taylor, Flossy Clemons and Evelyn Woods.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley P., nee Fordy, Edmonds of Mascoutah whom he married in Cardiff South Wales on Dec. 22, 1956; his children, Carol (Peter) Corchado of Charlotte, NC, Stephen (Cindy) Edmonds of El Paso, TX, Anthony (Kimberly) Edmonds of St. Peters, MO; six grandchildren, Nathan (Rhiannon) Mitchell, Erika (Seth) King, Aaron Edmonds, Isaiah, Elijah and Trinity Edmonds; two great grandchildren, Rianna and Hunter; 3 step-great grandchildren, Michael, William and Lilly; a sister, Dorothy Tall of Kankakee, IL; a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation : visitation will be from 11 AM to 2 PM Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral : funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Enloe Clemons officiating. Interment with military honors will be 11 AM Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
