Lenora A. Plab, nee Etling, 91, of St. Charles, MO, born May 25, 1924 in Smithton, IL, departed this life with her family surrounding her on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 in Charlevoix Health Care Center in St. Charles, MO.

She was a retired secretary from the Mascoutah High School Guidance Department and was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Mascoutah until she moved to St. Charles in 1990 where she became a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in St. Charles, MO.

Lenora has been reunited with her husband, Roger, whom she married in Smithton, IL in April 1948 and who died in January 1990; her parents, Oscar and Flora, nee Miller, Etling; a brother, Millard Etling; a sister, Ethel Seib; brothers-in-law, William Seib, and Terry Plab; and extended family members.

Surviving are her daughters, Pamela (Jerome) Smith of Jackson, MS, and Patricia Ann Elhoffer of St. Charles, MO; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Christine Elhoffer; a sister-in-law, Rita Etling; nieces and nephews

The family wishes to thank the staff of Charlevoix Health Care Center and SSM Hospice of St. Louis for the care provided to her.

In lieu of all other gifts, the family requests memorials to St. John’s United Church of Christ, 405 South 5 th St., St. Charles, MO 63301; or to SSM Hospice of St. Louis, #2 Harbor Bend Ct., Suite 201, Lake St. Louis, MO 63367.

Visitation : visitation will be from 9 to 10 AM Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral : funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Crecelius officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
