Glenville O Dawson

Glenville O. Dawson, 80, of Mascoutah, IL born June 1, 1935 in Three Mile, WV died Friday Sept. 11, 2015 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

He was a retired Technical Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force and also a retired civil service employee. Glenville was a U. S. Air Force Viet Nam War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Ophelia, nee Newhouse, Dawson, his wife, Jaunteel M., nee McCune, Dawson whom he married in Roane County, WV on Oct. 15, 1955, a granddaughter, Amber Dawson Smoyer and a sister, Phyllis Dawson.

He is survived by two sons, Steven (Margo) Dawson of Temperance, MI, David (Dee) Dawson of Vincennes, IN; three grandsons, Jared, Brett and Justin Dawson; a great grandson, Hunter Smoyer and his father James Smoyer of Papillion, NE; a sister, Jeanette (Bill) Allen of Pinch, WV; and two aunts, Christine and Emogene Newhouse of Three Mile, WV.

Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11 AM to 12 noon Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: Graveside services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with Chaplain Andre d’arden officiating..
