Marilyn Ann Norwood, nee Ursery, 63, of Mascoutah, IL, formerly of Tyronza, AR, born Nov. 5, 1951 in Memphis, TN, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Choice and Maxyne, nee Hall, Ursery.
Marilyn and Connie were married on Valentine’s Day 1970. She stood alongside Connie for 21 years while he served in the USAF. They moved with their three kids to Mascoutah in 1986. Surviving besides her husband are her kids, Chris (Melissa) Norwood, Kimberly (Chris) Jowett, and Kelly (Jen Preis) Norwood all of Mascoutah, IL; six grandchildren, Brandon, Nick, and Ryan Norwood, Tyler, and Lexi Jowett, and Payton Norwood; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Her favorite things to do involved anything her grandkids did – watching sports, dance, etc… She loved and cared for her three dogs, Taz, Jack, and Talon. She loved her family more than anything else! The family came first and foremost with nothing being too great to sacrifice. Pictures and memories filled her home making any visit there warm and inviting.
