Annette L. Fromme

Annette L. Fromme, nee Surmeier, 88, of Marissa, IL formerly of St. Libory, IL, born Aug. 23, 1926 in St. Libory, IL, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL.

She was retired from World Color Press in Sparta, IL; a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL; and member of the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Libory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Fromme whom she married in St. Libory, IL on Aug. 19, 1947 and who died Dec. 2, 1998; parents, Theodore and Bertha, nee Wennemann, Surmeier; a brother, Stanley Surmeier; two sisters, Ethel and Bernette Surmeier; three brothers-in-law, Alphonse Thessing, Raymond Mense, and Urban Hundelt; and grandson-in-law, Heath Shubert..

Surviving are two sons, Steven Fromme of Belleville, IL, and Jerry (Judy) Fromme of Nashville, IL; four grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Roesener of Okawville, IL, Shannon (Jessica) Fromme of Lenzburg, IL, Conrad (Debbie) Fromme of California, and Lea Shubert of Coulterville, IL; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Harry (Dorothy) Surmeier of Venedy, IL; three sisters, Frances Hundelt of Mascoutah, IL, Florence Mense of St. Libory, IL, and Laura (Frank) Edelman of Mascoutah, IL; a sister-in-law, Mary Surmeier of St. Libory, IL; nieces and nephews.

Visitation: There will be no visitation.

Funeral: A memorial Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Dennis Voss officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
