Alice C Wilhelm

Alice C. Wilhelm, nee Kniepmann, 85, of Mascoutah, IL, born Sept. 21, 1929 in Germantown, IL, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at Mar Ka Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Alice retired from Mascoutah School District 19 with 20 years in food service. She was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, past member of Mother’s Club, a member of HCCCW and past chairman of Holy Childhood Quilt Committee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Bernadine, nee Duepmann, Kniepmann, , five brothers, Elmer, Robert, Ray, Arthur and Alvin Kniepmann, a son-in-law, Dale Kinzel and a brother-in-law, Bernard Hemann and sisters-in-law, Doris, Estelle and Lori Kniepmann.

Surviving are her husband, Leo A. Wilhelm whom she married in Germantown, IL on May 6, 1953; three sons, Gary (Tricia) Wilhelm of Nashville, IL, Wayne (Sandy) Wilhelm and Steven (Sarah) Wilhelm, both of Mascoutah, IL; three daughters, Patti (Kenny) Jacobs of Okawville, IL, Karen Kinzel of Freeburg, IL, Janice (Jim) Day of New Baden, IL; 16 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Marian Hemann of Highland, IL, sisters-in-law, Helen Kniepmann of Melbourne, FL and Theresa Kniepmann of Osage, Beach, MO; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation : visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral : a funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Friday, July 24, 2015 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Fr. Paul Wienhoff and Fr. Jerry Hechenberger officiating. Interment will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
