Karen S. Tyler, nee Albers, 64, of Grain Valley, MO, formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 20, 1951 in Belleville, IL, died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at John Knox Hospice House in Lee’s Summit, MO.
Karen was a homemaker and formerly worked as a bookkeeper, and was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, IL.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah; and her mother, Clara, nee Kalkhoff, Albers.
She is survived by her husband, Ken R. Tyler whom she married in St. Libory, IL on Feb. 22, 1974; two sons, Jeffrey (Kari) Tyler of Sedalia, MO, and Eric (Heather) Tyler of Grain Valley, MO; two grandchildren, Kynleigh and Layton Tyler; her father, Victor B. Albers of St. Libory, IL; eight brothers and sisters, Rose Marie Grewe of St. Libory, IL, Joanne (Myron) Hoerchler of Mascoutah, IL, David (Carol) Albers of Freeburg, IL, Victoria (John) Ellerbusch of Okawville, IL, Michael (Brenda) Albers of St. Libory, IL, Roger (Marisa) Albers of Belleville, IL, Daryl (Theresa) Albers of Parsons, KS, and Robert (Mariann) Albers of Connersville, IN; an aunt and uncle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation : visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral : There will be a private burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
