Catherine M. "Katie" Richter

Catherine M. “Katie” Richter, nee Schrempp, 90, of O’Fallon, IL formerly of Belleville, born June 1, 1925 in Mascoutah, IL died Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

She was a homemaker; former member of St. Peter’s Cathedral in Belleville and Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Estella, nee Wombacher, Schrempp; a daughter, Nancy Ksepka; and a brother, Marcel Schrempp.

She is survived by her husband of over 68 years, Clive A. Richter whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on Oct. 29, 1946; her son, David (Linda) Richter of Belleville, IL; a son-in-law, Andrew Ksepka of Hazel Green, AL; three grandsons, Scott Richter of Belleville, IL, Ryan Richter of St. Louis, MO, and Nicholas Ksepka of Hazel Green, AL.
