Dorothy K. Linck, nee Ohl, 87, of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 17, 1927 in Mascoutah, IL, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her residence.

Dorothy was a retired cafeteria employee from the Mascoutah School District 19 and former Mascoutah Township Clerk. Dorothy loved family and friends and was always available to lend a helping hand. She was an active member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah and a Meals on Wheels volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin F. “Woots” Linck whom she married in St. Charles, MO on Dec. 24, 1946 and who died Nov. 28, 2000, her parents, John A. and Edna, nee Hertz, Ohl, two brothers, Robert “Opps” Ohl, Ralph “Primer” Ohl, a sister, Maxine “Tootie” Negley and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Surviving are four children, Terry Linck of Mesa, AZ, Susan (David) Wagner, Janis (Steven) Beimfohr and Larry (Geri) Linck, all of Mascoutah, IL; 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey Linck, Kelly (Nate) Sellinger, Erin (Andrew) Kuklevich, Lillieanne (Kenny) Hanson, Michael and Jessica Wagner, Erik and Kristen Beimfohr, Alison and Madison Linck; seven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Delores Hobbs, June Birkner, Ottilie Linck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of all other gifts memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ or Mascoutah Public Library.

Visitation :  visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral :  a memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 at St. John United Church of Christ with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.  A private family interment will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
