Roger Troy Seering

Roger T. Seering, 59, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 7, 1955, in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, Apr. 21, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Roger was a retired roofer; member of the Roofers and Waterproofing Local #2 in St. Louis, MO; and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah, IL.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Erin at birth; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Doris Jouett.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy”, nee Jouett, Seering whom he married in Mascoutah, IL on Aug. 14, 1976; three children, Jennifer (Ralph) Biebel of Damiansville, IL, Sara Seering of Mascoutah, IL, and Paul Seering of Mascoutah, IL; two grandchildren, Adrianna and Hope Biebel; his parents, Stanley and Loretta, nee Sauerhage, Seering of Darmstadt, IL; a brother, Ronald Seering of Hecker, IL; two sisters, Sheila (Darryl) McBride of Randalia, IA, and Susan (Scott) Forgy of St. Libory, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard (Cheryl) Jouett, Steve (Karen) Jouett, Ronnie Jouett, and Timothy Jouett; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation :  visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Friday, Apr. 24, 2015 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday, Apr. 25, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah.

Funeral : funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, Apr. 25, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah with Pastor Kirk Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
