Eleanore M. Koeller

Eleanore M. Koeller, nee Sandheinrich, 100, of St. Libory, IL, born Jan. 25, 1915 in Venedy Township, IL, died Tuesday, Mar. 31, 2015 at MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL,

She was a homemaker; member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL; the Rosary Sodality; and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elizabeth, nee Kramper, Sandheinrich; her husband, Anton A. Koeller whom she married in St. Libory, IL on Oct. 3, 1933 and who died Oct. 18, 1978; a son, Alvin Koeller, two sons-in-law, John Hundelt and Nick Borowiak; a grandson Joseph Koeller; a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Buescher; three brothers, George, William and Norbert Sandheinrich; and three sisters, Mary Bertke, Rose Lickenbrock, and Clara Schmidt.

Surviving are three children, Arlene Hundelt of St. Libory, IL, Ken (Mary Ann) Koeller of St. Libory, IL, and Jane Borowiak of Okawville, IL; a daughter-in-law, Mary Koeller of Belleville, IL;  15 grandchildren, Linda (friend Todd Erb) Bollmeier, Nancy (Jerry) Kraus, Ron (Donna) Hundelt, Steve (Cynthia) Hundelt, Mike (Terri) Hundelt, Jason Hundelt, Lisa Koeller, Michele (Scott) Carrol, Lydia Smith, Susan (Tim) Adams, Randall (Angela) Koeller, Pamela (friend Joe) Sommers, Brenda Kassen, Laurie Albers, and Phillip (Bonnie) Buescher; 33 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two step-great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 AM Monday, Apr. 6, 2015 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.

Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Monday at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff and Deacon Andrew Lintker officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
