Evelyn M. Bozada

Evelyn M. Hommel Bozada nee Knoth, 84, of Mascoutah, IL born March 4, 1930 in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015 at Terrace on the Park, Mascoutah, IL.

She was a retired bookkeeper from Midwestern Butane Gas Company in Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis J. “Gus” Hommel, her second husband, Alfonzo Bozada, her parents, Albert and Agnes, nee Rabe, Knoth, three brothers, Gerald, Francis and Larry Knoth, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Surviving are her children, Michael (Genevieve) Hommel of Mascoutah, IL, Patricia (Frank) Robles of Mascoutah, IL, Timothy (Julia) Hommel of Belleville, IL; six grandchildren, Amanda (Brad) Janssen, Erica Hommel, Bernadette Schrempp and  fiancé Armin “Hank” Weilbacher, Kirby Bailey, Ian (Cassandra) Hommel and Emily (Andy) Kasten, three great grandchildren, Ethan Martin, Valerie Bailey and Gabriella Kasten, a sister, Patricia Wuebbels Albers, a brother, Harold Knoth and sisters-in-law, Elvira Knoth and Nell Knoth.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association and Related Disorders, 9370 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132.

Funeral: There will be no visitation or services. Burial of cremains will be in Holy Childhood Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
