Mary A Cobine

Mary A. Cobine, nee Miller, 69, of Fayetteville, IL, born Jan. 5, 1945 in Carlinville, IL died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 at her residence.

She was retired truck driver and a lifetime member of O.I.D.A.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mary Edwards and her parents, Edgar and Ruth, nee Lack, Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce E. Cobine of Fayetteville, IL whom she married in Alton, IL on Dec. 30, 1975; her children, Jonathan (Sunarti) Edwards of Fayetteville, IL, Christina Edwards of Granite City, IL, Jennifer Edwards of Rosewood Heights, IL, James Shanks of Mascoutah, IL, George Shanks III of Fayetteville, IL, Robert Shanks of Alton, IL; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; three brothers, John (Cindy) Miller, Marvin Miller and Billy Miller; two sisters, Faye (Tim) Dyer and Lois Burnette.

Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at Cross Pointe Christian Church with Pastor Charlie McGee officiating.
