Kristine Ann Lajoye

Kristine Ann LaJoye, nee Miller, 64, of Mascoutah, IL formerly of Chesterfield, MI, born in Baraga, MI, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Kristine was a homemaker; and member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Little Lake, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. LaJoye whom she married in Baraga, MI on Apr. 11, 1970, and who died May 31, 2010; her parents, Henry and Julia, nee Morrison, Miller; a brother, William Miller, and a sister, Donna Heikkinen.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Kim) LaJoye of Mascoutah, IL, Diane LaJoye of Chesterfield, MI, and John LaJoye of Mascoutah, IL; two grandchildren, Ryan and Sam LaJoye of Mascoutah, IL; a sister, Lois Janus of Marysville, MI; nieces and nephews, Bill, Amy, Jen, and Tom Dompier, and Jennifer Janus; and cousins.

Cremation will be held and there will be a memorial service in the spring of 2015.
