Ione J Klingel

Ione J. Klingel, nee Bieser, 93, of Mascoutah, IL, born April 27, 1921 in Belleville, IL, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at Memorial Care Center, Belleville, IL.

Ione was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Klingel whom she married in St. Louis, MO on Nov. 29, 1942 and who died April 17, 2011, her parents, Edwin and Amanda, nee Karch, Bieser and a son-in-law, John Quick.

She is survived by a son, Gary (Sharron) Klingel of Princeton, IL; a daughter, Rhonda Quick of Crystal Lake, IL; three grandsons, Gregory (Christine) Klingel, Shawn (Julie) Klingel and Ryan (Emily) Quick; five great grandchildren, Holden, Graham and Nora Klingel and Henry and Delia Quick; a sister, Shirley Truex of Satellite Beach, FL; and also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Private funeral services will be held with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mascoutah City Cemetery.
