Geneda “Jan” Harrison, nee Morris, 77, of Mascoutah, IL, born Feb. 22, 1937 in Diablock, KY, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her daughter’s residence.
Jan was a school teacher, day care provider and creator of “Superman Stew”. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mascoutah and Mascoutah Senior Citizens.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Renth and John Harrison, her parents, Saul and Judy, nee Holland, Morris, a sister, Rebecca Bowman, and two brothers, Ray and Robert Morris.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Mark) Spicer of Mascoutah, IL, Donna (Kent) Winter of Highland, IL, Billy Joe (Andrea) Blackmer of Mascoutah, IL; her step-children, John Harrison, Jr. and Kristie Langley; her grandchildren, Kyle and Lindsey Spear, Kullen and Devin Winter, William and Zachary Blackmer; numerous step-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita Feltner of London, KY; her mother-in-law, Irene Renth of Mascoutah, IL; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Mascoutah, IL.
Visitation: visitation is from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL and form 9 to 10 AM Wednesday, July 16 at First Baptist Church in Mascoutah.
Funeral: funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Mascoutah with Pastor Duane Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
