Ruth Schadle

Ruth Schadle, nee Ostendorf, 89, of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 24, 1924 in Venedy Twp., IL died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Terrace on the Park in Mascoutah.

She was a retired vice-president of First National Bank in Mascoutah and a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, IL.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Schadle whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on Dec. 15, 1946 and who died March 25, 1973, her parents, Alfred and Emma, nee Klasing, Ostendorf and a brother-in-law, Leslie Burgard.

She is survived by her sister, Doris Burgard of Mascoutah, IL; nephews, Scott and Brian Burgard and great-nieces, Brianna and Cassidy Burgard.

Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, IL.

Visitation: There will be no visitation.

Funeral: Private services will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with Candice Stone officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
