Verina K Middendorf

Verina K. Middendorf, nee Graul, 94, of St. Libory, IL born Dec. 22, 1919 died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Mar-Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.

She was a homemaker and had many years of dedicated service to Adolph and Verina Lawn Mower Repair Service. She was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL and the rosary sodality.

Verina was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph H. Middendorf whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on May 9, 1946 and who died Jan. 4, 2007, her parents, Philip and Lorina, nee Haeuber, Graul, a grandson, Matthew Middendorf, a brother, Howard Graul, a sister, Viola Graul, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leo (Susan) Middendorf, Clarence (Esther) Middendorf, Vernon (Delores) Middendorf, Albinus Middendorf, Alvin (Ethel) Friederich and Melvin Lickenbrock.

Surviving are four sons, Eugene (Janice) Middendorf, Dennis (Marilyn) Middendorf, Gerald (Carole) Middendorf, all of Venedy, IL, Donald (Cindy) Middendorf of Troy, IL; six grandchildren, Christopher (Karen) Middendorf, Todd (fiancé Whitney) Middendorf, Valerie Middendorf, Jacinda (Michael) Petrea, Angela (Matt) Schilling and Tricia (Joe) Mueller; eight great grandchildren, Brandon, Shane and Alexis Middendorf, Ethan and Abby Schilling, Matthew and Mason Mueller and Elijah Petrea; a sister-in-law, Verna Lickenbrock of Belleville, IL; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 and from 9 to 10:20 AM Thursday, May 22 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.  There will be a prayer service 4 PM Wednesday at the church.

Funeral: a funeral mass will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Fr. Stan Konieczny officiating.  Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
