Lucille A. Waeltz, nee Hollenkamp, 95, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 3, 1918 in Beckemeyer, IL, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, IL.
Lucille was a homemaker and member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold W. Waeltz, Sr. whom she married in Beckemeyer, IL on Aug. 23, 1939 and who died Nov. 10, 1999; her parents, John H. and Minnie, nee Wilken, Hollenkamp; two sons, Robert A. Waeltz, and Arnold W. “Bill” Waeltz, Jr.; a daughter, Diane Waeltz in infancy; two grandchildren, Jacob Waeltz and Lynn Marie Beste; three brothers, Henry, Anthony, and John Hollenkamp.
She is survived by five children, Carol (Donald) Beste of Bethalto, IL, Jack (Betty) Waeltz of Belleville, IL, Judy (Bob) Huller of O’Fallon, IL, Dave (Doris) Waeltz of Mascoutah, IL, and Mary (Mark) Huller of O’Fallon, IL; two daughters-in-law, Mary Jo Waeltz of Brunswick, OH, and Sandi Waeltz of Round Rock, TX; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great great-granddaughter; two sisters-in-law, Helen Hollenkamp of Carlyle, IL and Betty Kramper of Kearney, NE; nieces and nephews.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 and from 9 to 9:40 AM Saturday Feb. 22, 2014 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: a funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father James Blazine officiating. Burial will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
