Linda S Kessler

Linda S. Kessler, nee Parker, 59, of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 31, 1954 in Red Bud, IL died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.


Linda was a homemaker and a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church, Mascoutah, IL.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond L. and Jeannette E., nee Vonderheide, Parker, husband, David A. Kessler, Sr. whom she married in New Athens, IL on June 23, 1979 and who died April 10, 2003, a brother, Roger Parker and a sister, Sandra Parker.


She is survived by three sons, David (Sharon) Kessler, Jr. of Herndon, VA, Daniel Kessler of Chicago, IL, Tim Kessler of St. Louis, MO; a step-daughter, Priscilla (James) Schoppen of Belleville, IL; a granddaughter, Sophia Kessler; step-grandchildren, Katilyn and Jacen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Deanne (Denny) Herzberg of Piermont, NY; a niece, Tara and a nephew, Daren.

Visitation: From 4 to 8 PM Wednesday Jan. 8, 2014 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 4 PM.


Funeral: A funeral mass will be held 10 AM Thursday Jan. 9, 2014 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
