Helen Heintz, nee Haake, of Venedy, IL, born November 30, 1943 in Germantown, IL died December 25, 2013.


Helen was a secretary for Swimmers Delight for 20 years; a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lively Grove, IL; and was a 1961 graduate from Mater Dei High School; and she loved collecting antiques and glassware.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen (Kniepman) Haake; three brothers, two sisters, and a son, Jeff Heintz.


Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Gerald (Jerry) Heintz; four children, Jennifer (Greg) Hill, Susanne Riechmann, Jerod (Maria) Heintz, Kevin (Erin) Heintz; nine grandchildren, Griffin Hill, Allison Hill, Payton Riechmann, Abby Riechmann, Parker Heintz, Carter Heintz, Sawyer Heintz, Hayden Heintz and Nolan Heintz. She is also survived by 5 brothers, Larry, Frank (Marcia), Ray (Linda), Jim (Joann), Al (Gina) Haake; and one sister, Ruth Jones.

In lieu of all other gifts, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern IL, Inc., 305 S. Illinois St., Belleville, IL 62220; or to the Siteman Cancer Center, Campus Box 1204, 7425 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105.

Visitation: visitation hours are from 4 to 8 PM Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 and from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in St. Libory, IL.

Funeral: a funeral Mass will be held 11 am Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lively Grove, IL with Father Paul Nwanegbo officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s’ Catholic Cemetery in Lively Grove.
