Charles J. “Buster” Klopmeyer, Jr., 78, of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 26, 1935 in Mascoutah, IL died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at Terrace on the Park, Mascoutah, IL.


He was a retired laborer, affiliated with St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, IL, a member of Mascoutah Laborers Local 742 and a U. S. Army veteran.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles J. and Irene, nee Zapp, Klopmeyer, Sr. and a sister, Helen Klopmeyer.


Surviving are his son, James Allen Klopmeyer of Panama City, FL; two brothers, Robert Klopmeyer and Jack (Carol) Klopmeyer both of Mascoutah, IL; twin sister, Florence (Hugh) Miller of Clemons, IA; nieces and nephews, Suzy (Harry) Friederich, Patty (Jim) Davis, Grady (Ann) Lewis, Mike (Susan) Klopmeyer; also great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation: Visitation is from 4 to 8 PM Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at Moll Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
