William A. "Bill" Starms Ii

William A. “Bill” Starms II, 62, of Okawville IL, born Dec. 19, 1950 in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at his home, in peace and surrounded by his family.


Bill was a retired truck driver and was formerly on the custodial staff at the Okawville Jr/Sr High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Ann, nee Patient, Starms.

He is survived by his wife Theresa, nee Guild, Starms; son, William Starms III; daughter, Laura (Bob) Wittenbrink; grandchildren, Kelsey, Ashley, Shane and Jonathan; sisters, Nancy Oughton, Carol Schlosser, Gertrude (Anthony) Wasser, and Katherine Morrissey; brother, Lawrence (Cheri) Starms; and other family and friends.

What a life we’ve shared with this spirited man with a love for music, cars, motorcycles and storytelling. Bill led a very active life and lived it on his own terms. We will miss him terribly and smile each time we think of him.

Memorials may be made to the family, or to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Inc.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 6 PM Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
