Richard L. Ohl

Richard L. Ohl, 59, of Belleville, IL, born Mar. 31, 1954, in Belleville, IL, died Nov. 17, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.


He was a tow truck driver and member of St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Opps” Ohl.

He is survived by his wife, Etta Francine, nee Bainter, Ohl; six children, David, Natalie, and Karl Ohl, Robert and Michael Capitano, and Amy Bosch; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his mother, Adele, nee Carle, Ohl; five sisters, Donna Berkemann, Karen Mueller, Mary Sanders, Marsha Schmittling, and Carol Jean Helle; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family.


Visitation: visitation is from 4 to 7 PM Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah.

Funeral: a funeral service will be held 7 PM Thursday evening following visitation with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Cremation will follow.
