Jaunteel M Dawson

Jaunteel M. Dawson, nee McCune, 80, of Mascoutah, IL born July 22, 1933 in Clio, WV died Tuesday Nov. 12, 2013 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.


She was retired from Army Air Force Exchange Services.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Bertha, nee Patton, McCune, a granddaughter, Amber Dawson Smoyer, four brothers, James, Jerel, Juel and Joshua McCune and a sister, Dorothy Joan McCune.


She is survived by her husband, Glenville O. Dawson of Mascoutah, IL whom she married in Roane County, WV on Oct. 15, 1955; two sons, Steven (Margo) Dawson of La Vista, NE, David (Dee) Dawson of Vincennes, IN; three grandsons, Jared, Brett and Justin Dawson; and a great grandson, Hunter Smoyer.


Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.


Visitation: Friends may call from 10 AM to 12 noon Monday Nov. 18, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: Graveside services will be held 1:15 PM Monday Nov. 18, 2013 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with Rev. Arland Lester officiating..
