Marvin O. Krausz

Marvin O. Krausz, 76, of New Baden, IL, born May 29, 1937 in Breese, IL, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Marvin was a retired farmer; member and elder of St. Peter Lutheran Church in New Memphis, IL; Clinton County Farm Bureau; and he served in the U. S. Army reserves.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar E. and Loretta, nee Seyer, Krausz; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Myrtle, nee Stolte, Kehrer, Sr.; and a nephew, Daniel Lee Kehrer II. .

He is survived by his wife, Joan M., nee Kehrer, Krausz whom he married in Venedy, IL on Apr. 7, 1965; a brother, Wilmer (Janet) Krausz of Belleville, IL; two brothers-in-law, Ralph “Skip” Kehrer, Jr. of New Memphis, IL, and Daniel (Jeanne) Kehrer of New Baden, IL; nieces and nephews, Mike Krausz, Lisa (Jim) Smallwood, Steven (Jane) Kehrer, Robert (Susan) Kehrer, and Kathy (Kevin) Huelsmann; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation: Private family visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday, Sept. 23, 2013
at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL, and from 9 to 10 AM Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at the church.

Funeral: Private family funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, New Memphis, IL with Pastor Art Eichhorn officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
