Mary "Kathryn" Missey

Mary “Kathryn” Missey, 79, of Summerfield, IL, born Dec. 31, 1933 in Washington County, MO, died July 26, 2013 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Meral Missey whom she married on Aug. 8, 1958 and who died Dec. 26, 2011; her parents Francis and Nancy, nee Oshia, Missey; two daughters, Tammy Bequette, and Donna Nye in infancy; three sisters, Pearl, Bertha, and Mabel; a brother, Homer; and a son-in-law, Bob Jarvis.

She is survived by her children, Debra Jarvis of Summerfield, IL, Roger Nye and (Kim Stonesifer) of Farmington, MO, Lisa (Marty) Anderson of Trenton, IL, Melanie (Jesse) Anderson of Summerfield, IL, and Darin (Judith) Missey of Summerfield, IL; a sister, Melva Lee Yates of Summerfield, IL; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to11 AM, Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at the funeral home with Sylvia Pendegraft officiating. Burial will be in Summerfield Cemetery, Summerfield, IL.
