Colt Oren Meurer, our precious son, age 5, of Mascoutah, IL, born Apr. 4, 2008 in Belleville, IL, went to Heaven on May 30, 2013 at Copper Spur Ranch, Northwest Colorado.
Colt was so sweet, loving, and full of life. We will miss his non-stop talking, his “one day” storytelling, his out of nowhere hugs and kisses to Mom, and his quickest footsteps to help and ride with Daddy in the tractor. He was our farm boy. He truly loved being with his brothers, playing, learning, and wrestling with them. He was so excited about our yearly Colorado trip, and he was taken to Heaven in what truly is God’s paradise on Earth to paradise in Heaven. Our hearts are broken and heavy, but we believe and trust in God’s perfect plan.
Mark 10:14 “Permit the children to come to Me, do not hinder them;
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Allen Reinneck; and cousin, Vivianne Meurer.
Colt is survived by his Father and Mother, John and Michelle Meurer; brothers little John, Jeb, and Coby Meurer; his maternal grandmother, Norma Reinneck, and special friend, Jim Saffel; uncles and aunts, Gary and Lori Reinneck, Darrell and Susan Reinneck, James and Hope Reinneck, Paul and Cari Reinneck, and Keith and Carolyn Reinneck; his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Ruth Meurer; aunts and uncles, Sheri and Jim Pellizzer, Jennifer and Jack Koenig, Joshua and Kate Meurer, Eugene and Tiffany Meurer, Aaron and Kelly Meurer, David and Jessica Meurer, Anna and Scott LaFore, and Amber Meurer; numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
