Helen C. Graul, nee Novoselec, 93, of Mascoutah IL, born Aug. 3, 1919 in Belleville, IL, died June 2, 2013 at MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Helen was a homemaker, a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL, and a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blaz and Frances, nee Spaniel, Novoselec, her husband, Albert W. Graul, Jr. whom she married in Hillsboro, MO on Aug. 13, 1960 and who died Oct. 15, 2012, a daughter, Denise Gauch, two brothers, Joseph and Blaz, and four sisters, Ruth, Ann, Frances, and Catherine.
She is survived by four children, Frank Graul of Memphis, TN, John Graul of New Baden, IL, Julie Edwards of New Baden, IL, and Jodie (Paul) Yates of Rogers, AR; a son-in-law, Elton Gauch of Belleville, IL; 11 grandchildren, Tiffany (Robert) Sommers, Jessica (Jason) Penick, Alison Edwards, Angelia (Michael) Short, John and Dustin Graul, Trevor, Andrew, and Nathan Yates, Steve (Shannon) Gauch, and Jeff (Joan) Gauch; six great-grandchildren, Mallory, Madeline, Alex, Adam, Sara, and Annabelle; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Curt (Fran) Graul, Alice (Chester) Black, Edna (Phillip) Cole, Pearl (Charles) Ballot, Carol (Ben) Rasch, and Nancy (Dave) Wambold; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL, and from 9 to 10 AM Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. John United Church of Christ.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, IL with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett and the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
