Freda B. Moll, nee Pomorski, 82, of Mascoutah, IL, born July 8, 1930 in Erie, PA, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Rosegate Village, Indianapolis, IN.
Freda was a homemaker whose life involved many career occupations including, bookkeeping; secretary for Holy Childhood Catholic School; organist and choir director for many years at Holy Childhood Catholic Church where she is a member; and she was a retired bus driver from Mascoutah School District 19.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Moll whom she married in Erie, PA on Oct. 5, 1968 and who died Oct. 13, 2006; her parents, Ignatius and Josephine, nee Ludweizcak, Pomorski; two brothers, Casimir and Martin Pomorski; a sister, Mary Pomorski; and two sisters-in-law, Sally and Viola Pomorski.
She is survived by two children, Lori (Phillip) Curtis of Indianapolis, IN, and Joseph Moll and fiancé Lisa Irby of Washington D. C.; five grandchildren, Samantha, Kate, and Morgan Curtis; and Danielle and Megan Moll; a sister, Joan (Jim) Roward of West Seneca, NY; three brothers, Raymond (Doris) Pomorski of Tampa, FL, Joseph Pomorski of Erie, PA, and Daniel (Katie) Pomorski of Erie, PA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helen Moll, Margie and Dick Sax, Ralph and Pam Middendorf; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood Memorial Improvement Fund or in the form of Masses.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL. A prayer service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
