Devon D. Elbe

Devon D. Elbe, 23 of Mascoutah, IL formerly of Belleville, IL born Feb. 20, 1989 in Belleville, IL died, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.


He was a bartender at Smokey Bones Restaurant in Fairview Heights, a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School and a Belleville West High School graduate.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jacqueline McKinnon.


Surviving are his parents, Drew and Jana L., nee Yaffe, Elbe of Mascoutah, IL; two sisters, Lauren (Brandon) Winkelmann of Gulfport, MS, Hannah Elbe of Mascoutah, IL; a nephew, Odin Winkelmann; paternal grandparents, Dale (Jean) Elbe of Mascoutah, IL; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Yaffe of Belleville, IL; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


In lieu of all other gifts memorials may be made to Camp Ondessonk, 3760 Ondessonk Rd., Ozark, IL 62972.


Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 PM Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: A funeral mass will be held 10 AM Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Fr. Pat Peter officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery.
