Doris C. Woodrum, nee Haas, 83, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 9, 1929 in New Athens, IL, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Doris was a homemaker and a retired employee of Mascoutah School District 19 and the Grange Nursing Home and also a member of Holy Childhood Church in Mascoutah.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane M. Woodrum, a son Mark Woodrum, her parents Lorence B. and Theresa, nee Wuebbels, Haas, two brothers, Lawrence “Pete” and Norbert Haas, a sister, Bernice Schneider, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Surviving are her husband, William “Bill” Woodrum of Masoutah, IL whom she married in Bryan, TX, May 1, 1952; her children, Deborah A. Law of Mascoutah, IL and Bruce Woodrum of Mascoutah, IL; grandchildren, Brian Woodrum of Phoenix, AZ and Bradley Woodrum of Lenzburg, IL; sisters, Rose Medukas of Grand Rapids, MI, Betty Gardner of Belleville, IL, Frances (Curt) Graul of Mascoutah, IL, Bernadine Wells of Spring Hill, FL, Carol (Matt) Dunn of Belleville, IL, a brother, Dave (Trudy) Haas of Mesa, AZ; a sister-in-law, Arlene Haas of Mascoutah, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation: will be held from 4 to 8 PM Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: funeral services will be held 1 PM, Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
