Linda J. Mccree

Linda J. McCree, nee Kane, 54 of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 21, 1958 in Sparta, IL, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.

She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Lee Kane.


She is survived by her husband, Calvin D. McCree who she married in Sparta, IL on Sept. 25, 1982; four children, Rebecca McCree of Trenton, MO, Adam McCree of Unionville, MO, Joel McCree of Clearwater, FL, and Mark McCree of Sparta, IL; ten grandchildren, Brennan, Alex, and Caley Williams, Alayna, Nolan, Ryan, Bryce, Kolton and Maycee McCree, and riley Ostermeyer.; her mother, Betty Jane, nee Kuikendall, Kane of Cottage Grove, MN; two brothers, Bruce Kane of Joshua, TX, and Brad (Kim) of Granbury, TX; two sisters, Cindy Novachich of Mitchell, SD, and Marilyn Marko of Cottage Grove, MN; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and Kenneth McCree of Sparta, IL.

A memorial service will be held 10 AM Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Life Church in Swansea, IL.
