Andrew P. "Andy" Dickhaut

Andrew P. “Andy” Dickhaut, 76, of Mascoutah, IL, born July 27, 1936 in Mascoutah, IL died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at his residence.


Andy was a retired truck driver from Heberer Equipment Co. in Mascoutah, IL and a farmer.  He was a former member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Genevieve, nee Grimmer, Dickhaut.

He is survived by two sons, Nick (Kimberly) Dickhaut of Mascoutah, IL, and Brian Dickhaut and fiancé Tracie Sullivan of Mascoutah, IL; the mother of his children, Carolyn Dickhaut of Mascoutah, IL; three grandchildren, Heather, Trevor, and Paige Dickhaut; three brothers, Oscar Dickhaut of St. Morgan, IL, Joseph Dickhaut of New Baden, IL, and Simon (Jane) Dickhaut of Mascoutah, IL; two sisters, Rose (Daryl) Monken of Highland, IL, and Joan Clark of Mascoutah, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at the Moll Funeral Home, in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Moll Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Spratte officiating.  Cremation will follow the services.
