Ethel Anna Friederich

Ethel Anna Friederich, nee Middendorf, 89, of Holmen, WI formerly of Mascoutah, IL born Oct. 17, 1922 in Venedy, IL, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Onalaska Care Center, Onalaska, WI.


Ethel was a homemaker.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Friederich whom she married in St. Libory, IL, Nov. 6, 1940 and who died Aug. 30, 1984, her parents, Fred and Minnie, nee Luebbers, Middendorf, and five brothers, Leo, Clarence, Adolph, Albinus and Vernon Middendorf.


Surviving are her son, James (Donna) Friederich of Chandler, TX; a daughter, Carol (Greg) Hackner of Holmen, WI; her grandchildren, Mike (Glynis) Friederich, Chris (Shannon) Weyland, Brian (Dawn) Hackner and Kelly (Chris) Splinter; her great-grandchildren, Matt and Ellie Friederich, Jacob, Cody, and Conner Weyland, Lauren, Dylan and Jordan Hackner, Paige, Emily and Bryana Splinter; a sister, Verna Lickenbrock of Belleville, IL; sisters-in-law, Verina Middendorf of Mascoutah, IL, Irene Schmidt and Orene Sudheimer both of Belleville, IL; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: A funeral mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with the Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
