Rita Ann Boller, nee Biddle, 79, of Mascoutah, IL, born April 19, 1933 in Portage, WI, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at her home.

Rita worked at the Shoe Center in Mascoutah from 1966-1971; at Eckert’s from 1971-1973; and then at Modern Foundry in Mascoutah from 1973-1982.  She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah since 1960 where she served as a Sunday school and vacation bible school teacher and also served on various committees. Rita’s family was her top priority all her life.  In addition, after retiring, her interests were quilting, travelling, and antiquing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald William and Viola Fern, née Dryer, Biddle; a brother, John Biddle, and a sister, Joan Fite.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arthur H. Boller, Jr. who she married in Santa Maria, CA on June 20, 1952; four children, Catherine (Thomas) Klingelhoefer of Mascoutah, IL, Duane (Rita) Boller of Farmington Hills, MI, Cynthia (Terry) Grommet of Belleville, IL, and Ruby Parker of Park City, UT; seven grandchildren, Tara (Dustin) Graul of Denver, CO, Melanie (Bryan) Bernat of St. Louis, MO, Haley Klingelhoefer of Mascoutah, IL, Samuel Boller of Farmington Hills, MI, Quentin (Stephanie) Grommet of Belleville, IL, Megan (Dwight) Espenschied of Freeburg, IL, and Caitlin Grommet of Mascoutah, IL; seven great-grandchildren, Remington Graul, Mason Bernat, Jacob, Jackson, and Quinn Grommet, and Wyatt and Audrey Espenschied; three sisters and a brother, Donna Delashmutt of San Antonio, TX, Bernard Biddle of Richland, WA, Betty O’Brien of San Antonio, TX, and Cleo (Wayne) Coonfare of Coos Bay, OR.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; or Hoyleton Ministries; or St. John United Church of Christ.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL, and from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL, with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.  Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
