Edna M. Zinck, 105, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 8, 1907 in Engelmann Twp., IL, died Monday, July 23, 2012 at Terrace on the Park (Grange Nursing Home).


Edna worked for Martha Manning Garment Factory for 22 years. She was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, HCCCW, former member of Holy Childhood Adult Choir, a long time quilter of Holy Childhood Parish, a regular nursing home volunteer since her retirement at Martha Manning and a Red Cross volunteer for the Mascoutah District for more than 20 years.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto P. and Mary L., nee Lanter, Zinck, a brother, Albert O. Zinck, a sister-in-law, Alvina, and two nephews, Joseph and Aloys Zinck.


She is survived by a nephew, Edward Zinck of Mascoutah, IL; two nieces, Marie Wolf and Helen Kremmer, both of Okawville, IL; also survived by grand nieces and nephews.


In lieu of all other gifts memorials may be made in the form of masses or to the Holy Childhood Council of Catholic Women (HCCCW).


Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: A funeral mass will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
