Gloria S. Hindermann, nee Corpstein, 89, of Mascoutah, IL, born February 28, 1918 in Mascoutah, IL, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Gloria was a homemaker, member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 392 of Mascoutah, IL, Eastern Star Chapter 756 of Trenton, IL, AARP, and past trustee for Mascoutah Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oswald and Lena, nee Mueller, Corpstein, her husband, Louis Hindermann, and a brother, Orien Corpstein in infancy.
She is survived by a sister, Vivian (Lorraine) Volkmann; nephews, Keith (Vikki) Volkmann, Greg (Cely) Volkmann, Kevin (Michelle) Volkmann; a close companion, Erwin Renth; an aunt, Delores Hammel; a close cousin, Marilyn Englert; and many other cousins and friends. Gloria will be missed by all her friends and family.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at the Moll Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
