Irene J. Gibson

Irene J. Gibson, nee Hutto, 88, of Mascoutah, IL, formerly of South Carolina, born June 3, 1919 in Barnwell, SC, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at the MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker and member of Dover First Baptist Church in Dover, Florida. Her life was surrounded by her love for the Lord and her love for her family.


She was preceded in death by her parents, James Angus and Versa Mae, nee Morris, Hutto, son-in-law, Michael Rawl, three brothers and five sisters.


She is survived by her husband, Nathan H. Gibson of Dover, FL; a daughter, Jo Ann Rawl of Mascoutah, IL; four grandchildren, Robert Rawl of Anchorage, AK, Steven (Jenny) Rawl of Fort Worth, TX, Deborah (Tim) von der Linden of Mascoutah, IL, and Tracy (Rick) Tinsley of Mascoutah, IL; 11 great-grandchildren, Bobby, Brandon, Corey, Shay, Michael, Calan and Jordan Rawl, Kristin and Ryne von der Linden, Brent and Carson Tinsley.


Memorials may be made to MarKa Nursing Home Activity Fund or to Heartland Hospice.


Visitation: Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Rev. Steven Rawl officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery in Mascoutah, IL.
