Eunice E. Eckhardt

Eunice E. Eckhardt, nee Singler, 85, of Lebanon, IL, formerly of New Baden, IL, born June 16, 1922 in Lookingglass Township, Clinton County, IL, died Sunday, Mar. 30, 2008 at the Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL.


She was a retired seamstress at the Pants factory in Belleville and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, New Memphis, IL.


Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Martin Eckhardt whom she married in New Memphis, IL on Sept. 9, 1944 and who died June 11, 1999, and her parents, Julius and Emma, nee Fischer, Singler


She is survived by a sister, Lela Meyer of Nashville, IL.


Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, New Memphis, IL, or to Heartland Hospice.


Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Rev. David Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
