Lt. Col. (ret.) Charles F. Donohue , USAF, 73, of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 28, 1935 in Tuckahoe, NY, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
After a 24 year career as a navigator in the USAF, Charles became a realtor and real estate broker and opened Camelot Realty in Fairview Heights in 1981. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the M.O.A.A. and the Belleville Area Realtors Association.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Donohue, his parents, Edward A. and Julia E., nee High, Donohue and a sister, Julia Knorr.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, nee Bader, Donohue, four daughters, Kelly Donohue of Belleville, IL, Victoria Servi of Anna, TX, Ronda Reinheimer of Mascoutah, IL, and Cathy (Tim) Cook of Okawville, IL, two sons, Michael (Jen) Donohue of Holiday, FL, Kenneth (Cathy) Reinheimer of Freeburg, IL, 11 grandchildren, Ashlie, Brooke and Alex Schlatweiler, Griffin and Holly Reinheimer, Christina, Nicholas and Kayla Servi, Megan, Laura and Sarah Cook, baby Donohue due in August, two sisters, Sister Katharine Donohue of Sinsinawa, WI, Jean Jachman of Minneapolis, MN and a brother, Edward (Jane) Donohue of Rock Hill, SC.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL
Funeral: Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
