Vivianne Margaret Meurer

Vivianne Margaret Meurer, 3, of Belleville, born July 17, 2005 in Belleville, went to celebrate her birthday with the Lord on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Cardinal Glennon’s Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO.


Vivianne “Vivi” was full of life and a light to all who knew her. She loved chasing butterflies and bugs, riding on her daddy’s shoulders, and pretending to be Cinderella. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends until their ultimate reunion in Heaven. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”


Surviving are her father and mother, Joshua and Kathleen “Kate”, nee Lynch, Meurer; two sisters, Lucy and Kara Meurer; grandparents, Eugene F. and Ruth Meurer of Belleville, and James and Margaret Lynch of Frankfort, IL; uncles, John (Michelle) Meurer of Mascoutah, Eugene W. (Tiffany) Meurer of Belleville, Aaron (Kelly) Meurer of Freeburg, David (Jessica) Meurer of Belleville, Jim (Jane) Lynch of Chicago, IL, John (Gretchen) Lynch of Kansas City, MO; aunts, Sheri (Jim) Pellizzer of Pace, FL, Jennifer (Jack) Koenig of O’Fallon, Anna Meurer (fiancé Scott LaFore), and Amber Meurer of Belleville, and numerous cousins.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008 at Grace Church, Fairview Heights, IL.


Funeral: There will be a memorial celebration held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Grace Church, Fairview Heights, IL, with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
