Deloris L. Payer

Deloris L. Payer, nee Ettling, 93, of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 10, 1915 in Freeburg, IL died Saturday Nov. 1, 2008 at the Grange Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.


She was a retired cafeteria worker from the Mascoutah School District.


She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Flora, nee Smart, Ettling, her husband, Louis Payer, Jr., whom she married in Belleville, IL Aug. 9, 1936 and who died July 10, 1997, a son-in-law, Joseph C. McKee, a sister, Thelma Weidler and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Mary Yurgec.


Deloris is survived by her daughter, Carol Jean McKee of Mascoutah, IL; three grand-children, Tod and wife Melody, Gina and Joey McKee and a sister, Stella Schnipper of Belleville, IL.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mascoutah Senior Service Program, 227 North Market St., Mascoutah, IL 62258 or to the charity of donor’s choice.


Visitation: There will be no visitation.


Funeral: A private funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
