Robert G. Tweedy, Jr.

Robert G. Tweedy, Jr., 28, of St. Libory, IL, born Dec. 24, 1979 in Belleville, IL, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at St. Louis University Hospital, in St. Louis, MO.


He was a carpenter for Guarantee Interiors in St. Louis, MO, a 1998 graduate of Freeburg High School, attended Eastern Illinois University, and member of Freeburg Carpenters Local #480. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf.


He was preceded in death by his grandmother, JoAnn Tweedy, and a brother Andrew Jacob Tweedy in infancy.


He is survived by his wife, Anne M., nee Tritt, Tweedy who he married Oct. 30, 2004 in Freeburg, IL; a daughter, Ella Grace Tweedy; mother and stepfather, Susan, nee McCluskey, and David Buss of St. Libory, IL; father and stepmother, Robert Greg, Sr. and Robin Tweedy of Belleville, IL; a sister, Kathleen Tweedy of St. Libory, IL; maternal grandparents, Louis and Carolyn McCluskey of Marion, IL; paternal grandfather, Robert Tweedy of Belleville, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tim and Yvonne Tritt of Freeburg, IL; brother-in-law, Adam Tritt of Freeburg, IL; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ella Grace Tweedy Fund and mailed or delivered to any Commerce Bank.


Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008 and from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at the Moll Funeral Home in
St. Libory, IL.


Funeral: A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL with the Rev. Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
