Marcella L. Kniepkamp

Marcella Leona Kniepkamp, nee Reinhardt, 80, of Belleville, IL, born Sep. 4, 1928 in Covington, IL, died at her residence on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008.


Marcella loved her husband and family and was most happy in their
company. She leaves behind her husband, Roland whom she married April 20, 1952; three children, David (Pamela) Kniepkamp of Belleville, IL, Larry Kniepkamp and Anita Kruep of Vandalia, IL, and daughter, LaVonne Stangle of Mascoutah, IL; six grandchildren, Jared, Tyler, Claire and Alicia Kniepkamp, Matthew and Nathan Stangle; three sisters; Anita Reu of Mt. Vernon, IL, Alta Chiappone of Syracuse, NY, twin sister, Rocella (Leonard) Streuter of Okawville, IL, and brother, Melvern (Jerry) Reinhardt of Naples, FL; nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Clara, nee Wernecke, Reinhardt; and a sister, Laverna Middendorf.


Marcella worked as bookkeeper for the family business, cafeteria worker for the Mascoutah School District and secretary at the Registrars Office at Belleville Area College. She was a devoted member of the Ladies Aid/LWML, Altar Guild, and Choir of Zion Lutheran Church.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Jan 2, 2009 at
Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church, Mascoutah, IL with Pastor Kirk Clayton officiating. Interment will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
